Batik Butimo is a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) producing batik, located at Kabrokan Wetan RT 01 Sendangsari, Pajangan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. This SME originated from a family business in Bonorejo Hamlet, Lendah, Kulon Progo; founded around 1975 by Mrs. Kartinah Darmowihardjo. Today, the cultural heritage of Batik Butimo is continued by the 3rd Generation since 2016.

Along with the times, the business legality was upgraded with the establishment of CV Batik Teknologi Indonesia in 2019. We prioritize research and innovation in the field of batik and batik technology, starting from the batik process to coloring (synthetic and natural), from design to production, and from raw materials to finished products. Facing the challenges of Industry 4.0, we innovate to welcome the Batik 4.0 era without losing traditional art values. We prove that technological sophistication can coexist with the authenticity of the work; where the use of hot wax and manual scratches of craftsmen are still maintained as the main spirit. As a manifestation of this synergy, our superior innovative products include the Written Batik Machine (Techno Written Batik) and the Batik 4.0 System.
